Privacy policy

Race Insight publishes https://www.race-insight.com and the API at https://api.race-insight.com. Calculators, the nutrition plan, and training zones work without an account. An account is optional and lets you find your data on another device.

Account: email address and a hashed password. We do not ask for a name or a date of birth.

Training: zones, test results (6-minute distance, 20-minute power, and the FTP derived from it) and workouts. Without an account this stays in the browser (localStorage). With an account a copy is stored on our servers.

Nutrition: products and plan, in the same way.

The session token is stored in the browser (localStorage), not in a cookie.

Audience measurement (Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics) and advertising (Google AdSense). The CookieScript banner stores your choice. These services may set cookies.

This connection is optional and starts from Race Insight. You authorize Intervals.icu, which can then pass workouts to Zwift or Garmin if you already linked those accounts there.

The access token is kept on our servers, tied to your account. We send structured workouts (duration, distance, pace or power). We do not read a Strava history through this connection, and we do not sell the token.

You can revoke access in Intervals.icu (authorized applications). Deleting the Race Insight account also deletes this token.

To provide the tools, store your library if you have an account, send workouts to Intervals.icu only when you ask, measure the audience, and show ads that fund the site.

The account and library stay while the account exists. Local data stays until you clear the browser. The Intervals.icu token stays until you revoke access or delete the account.

The host of the site and the API, Google (Analytics and AdSense), and Vercel (audience measurement). Intervals.icu only if you start the connection. Zwift and Garmin receive workouts only through the link you made in Intervals.icu. We do not sell this data.

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of your data. In France a complaint can be sent to the CNIL. Elsewhere, to your local data protection authority.
